Children's Day

  • Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy to honor the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, and his immense love for children. The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by the principal, followed by a tribute to Pandit Nehru. The school was beautifully decorated, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement. A variety of cultural programs, including dances, songs, and skits, were performed by students from different classes, highlighting the significance of the day. The teachers also joined the celebration with a special performance that brought smiles to the faces of all students. Inter-House Competitions: As part of the celebrations, various inter-house competitions were conducted to encourage teamwork and showcase students' talents. The competitions included: 1. Debate Competition: Students debated on relevant topics, displaying exceptional oratory skills and confidence. 2. Art and Craft: Creativity was at its peak as participants designed innovative artwork. 3. Sports Activities: Exciting games like relay races, tug-of-war, and football matches added an energetic vibe to the day. Each house participated with zeal and determination, aiming for victory. The results were announced during the closing ceremony, and the winning house was awarded the prestigious trophy. Participation certificates were distributed to all contestants to encourage their efforts. The celebration ended on a high note with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the cultural secretary.
