Independence Day Celebration

  • The 78th Independence Day celebration was held with great enthusiasm and patriotism at our school. The event was hosted by the 10th-grade students, and the entire school campus was beautifully decorated to commemorate this important national occasion. The entrance to the school was adorned with vibrant tricolors, and large Indian flags were displayed across the campus. Banners with inspirational quotes about freedom and unity were hung on the walls, setting a festive and solemn tone for the day. The school courtyard was decorated with flowers and rangolis, symbolizing the unity and diversity of our country. The event began with the unfurling of the national flag by the Chief Guest, Prof. S. N. Kattimani, followed by the national anthem sung by all attendees. Prof. Kattimani's presence added a touch of academic prestige to the occasion, as he emphasized the importance of education and discipline in achieving the nation's vision of progress and prosperity. His speech was filled with inspiring words that reminded everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. The students performed various cultural programs, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits that depicted the struggle for independence. The performances were a tribute to the brave leaders and martyrs who fought for India's freedom. The 10th-grade students also presented a short play on the history of India's independence, which left the audience deeply moved. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and the closing of the ceremony. The 78th Independence Day was a memorable and proud moment for all the students and staff, who came together to honor the sacrifices made by our leaders and to reflect on the progress we have made as a nation. In all, the event was a success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the 10th-grade students who organized it, and the valuable contribution of Prof. S. N. Kattimani as the chief guest. The school’s decoration added to the festive atmosphere, making the event a grand and meaningful celebration of India’s 78 years of independence.
