School Parliament Election 2024-25

  • The much-awaited School Parliament Election was held on the 15th of June, 2024, in our school, with students from class 6th to 10th eligible to vote. The election was organized to elect new members for various posts in the student council, which plays a key role in representing the student body and fostering a better school environment. The event began with a morning assembly where the election process was explained by the organizing committee. Each candidate presented their manifesto, outlining their vision and plans for the school. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as students actively participated in the campaigns, displaying posters, distributing pamphlets, and holding interactive sessions with their peers to gain support. Voting began at 10:00 AM and continued until 1:00 PM. A secure and well-organized system was in place to ensure smooth voting. The students cast their votes in a secret ballot system, ensuring privacy and fairness. Teachers and staff members supervised the process to maintain discipline and integrity. The counting of votes started immediately after the voting closed. The results were announced by the election committee in the afternoon, and the winners were congratulated for their success. The new student leaders were eagerly welcomed by their fellow students and were expected to begin their duties by working alongside the teachers and administration to implement their proposed plans for the school. The School Parliament Election was a great success, with high student participation and a fair, transparent process. It encouraged students to develop leadership skills, become more involved in school activities, and express their opinions about the school environment. This event was a reflection of the school's commitment to nurturing democratic values and leadership qualities among students.
